What's the limitation in trial version of dvdXsoft
DVD Ripper?
The limitation in the trial version is that there is only can
convert video with watermark. Otherwise, the functionality is
exactly the same in the trial version and full version.
How to remove the watermark on output video?
You need to register your trial version,if accept your registeration
code the trial version will become full version,also will not
have any limitation.
Why no sound or no video on output xvid or divx?
mybe you only process 1 pass or directly use 2-pass not use 1
pass. ie if you direct use 2st-pass for xvid you will get those
error message
if you not want use 2-pass encode for AVI you should use encodetype"single
pass" for xvid
Rate control mode " 1-pass" for divx
also for divx 6.4 some PAL dvd can not encode so change divx certification
profile as "High Definition Profile".
Video is out of sync with the audio. How to resolve it?
on some NTSC dvds this problem does occur.please try to change
the output, framerate to 23.967 or 29.97,try to rip 5 mins to
see which combination works. because some NTSC disc have fake
framerate (note as 23.967 but actually is 29.97) so it will be
a little hard to rip this kind of disc.
How to do 2-pass encoding for avi encode?
1)XVID
first select encodetype "twopass-1st pass",
 then rip your dvd.
After 1st pass rip complete, then select encodetype"twopass-2nd
pass",
 then rip your dvd.
2)Divx
first select Rate control mode"Multipass,1st pass",
 then rip your dvd.
after 1st pass rip complete,then select Rate control mode "
multipass,nth pass",
 then rip your dvd.
3 )WMV
first select Rate control mode"Multipass,1st pass",

Which is the best output format?
The DVD copied and compressed by DivX is of high quality and only
takes up 1/10 original DVD space. To output DivX format, you need
to install the DivX Codec. Please follow the instruction.
1. Launch dvdXsoft DVD Ripper.
2. Set the output format as AVI (DivX, Xvid...) from the drop
list of "format".
3 . Set the AVI video codec as "DivX" (Settings >>
Codec>> AVI >> DivX).
How to reduce rip time?
If you want it faster, please rip DVD with DivX codec , and set
a lower resolution, such as 352*288 |
